We don’t have a “ministry” for Young Adults, but we definitely want to help you find community and get plugged in at our parish. We know that Young Adults often feel like there is a gap in church life in Athens between ministries targeted to College Students and those for Young Families. It can be especially difficult for those who go to college in Athens and stay because so many friends move away after school, which can be disruptive and disorienting.

We want to do our best to help you navigate this season with faithfulness. We often find that our Young Adults have more desire and availability for community, fun, and fellowship. Most of this happens informally at the church and our Pastoral Intern, Brian Haney, coordinates a lot of this for us so people don’t fall through the cracks. Let him know if you would like to know more about Young Adult fun and fellowship gatherings by sending him an e-mail and joining the STAC Young Adults GroupMe. We would encourage you to also join the STAC Men GroupMe OR the STAC Women Group Me.

We would also encourage you to check out all the Groups & Classes to find a place to grow in your faith in community.
