Welcome, students! If you are new, welcome to Athens. If you are returning, welcome back.

We want to help you grow in your faith and serve the Lord while you are in school. We have a Parish House that serves as offices for our team and hosts prayer meetings and events near the UGA Campus on S. Church St. Our main Church is just a few miles from Campus near the Loop off of Macon Hwy. The best next step is to join us for worship and start getting connected. Later this Fall, we are going to be starting a College Group led by one of our staff members.

St. Thomas College

There isn’t a specialized campus ministry at UGA right now for college students. We hope there will be in the future, but we also love partnering with different Campus Ministries.

We think it is essential for anyone involved in a campus ministry to also be involved in a local church for their lifelong formation and developing a mature, adult faith. There are lots of ways for College Students to get involved and find a church home at St. Thomas while they are in Athens.

By the way, there are several faith milestones in the Church that include Holy Baptism and Confirmation. We often find that students desire baptism because they are new to faith or (for some reason) weren’t baptized at the church they grew up in. Let us know if you are interested in Baptism or Confirmation!

Weekly College Group on Thursdays - There is a weekly college group gathering this Fall centered on worship, study, and fellowship! We meet on Thursdays at 6 PM at the Parish House - 395 S. Church St. Athens, GA 30605.
